EXPANSION VESSELS |
|
REFLEX diaphragm expansion vessels are used in closed-loop heating and cooling water circuits applications in order to absorb and control pressure increases caused by expansion of water as it is heated from cold to hot. The REFLEX N and G range offers the generic solution to pressure control in heating and cooling applications. The tank is arranged so that it is completely full of air (nitrogen) when the system is cold. Water expelled from the system by expansion, enters the tank and compresses the air cushion. Air and water are separated by a flexible diaphragm. Reflex expansion vessels are available in different pressure ranges and nominal volumes, either flat or cylindrical, depending on the application, and with a fixed diaphragm or replaceable bladder. Reflex tanks are made of heavy duty material, highly reliable in sealed systems . All models feature a high-quality coating in either standard grey or white depending on the model and size. Vessels with a nominal volume of up to 1000 litres are supplied with a fixed diaphragm (types N) as a standard, while for nominal volumes of over 1000 litres, the vessels are only available with an exchangeable diaphragm.
*Expansion tanks that are not kept in stock are available only with order. |
